Dec 30, 2009 · Although Windows 7 had some good reviews and had a nice reputation, I couldn't trust it yet to be worthy of an upgrade from my computer running Windows XP. My uncle said that Windows 7 is still unstable, since after all it is so new. I had a cousin who had problems installing programs in Windows 7 until they re-installed the whole OS. Do a clean installation of Windows 7, hit Windows Update and get everything it offers (except the damned language packs and maybe mouse drivers which they seem to now be pushing out - Intellipoint crap for Microsoft mice, etc), and then verify the system is solid and stable. 12/03/2019 Windows 10 update unstable?
